Fatima Lahham is a recorder player currently studying on the Masters programme at the Royal College of Music with Ashley Solomon, Maria Martinez Ayerza and Julien Feltrin. As a soloist and chamber musician Fatima performs regularly with the RCM Baroque Orchestra, Oxford Baroque Soloists, with her chamber ensemble, and at venues recently including the Holywell Music Room, St. Paul's Covent Garden, the Harwich Festival, the Royal Academy of Arts, and the RCM's Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall...read more.

EWARD KAY is doing an MA in Vocal Studies at the Royal Academy of Music, and was one of last year's Exuberant Trust award-winners. He has previously sung at Durham and Christ Church Cathedrals, with The Sixteen, and as a soloist.

UTKU ASAN is a 16 year old pianist from Istanbul. He is currently a student at the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University State Conservatory, Turkey and has performed a large number of recitals and concerts, with his first at age 13. As an extremely talented and accomplished pianist, Utku was selected as one of İş Sanat's six "Shining Stars" in 2015, which provides a platform for Turkey's talented young musicians in it's Concert Hall, one of Turkeys most prestigious cultural arts centres. Some of Utku's performances can be seen on YouTube.


Utku is attending a Music School in Salzburg this summer and was keen to offer performances to gain experience while visiting relatives in the UK beforehand. The Exuberant Trust is extremely excited to welcome Utku to Standlake as a performer at The Music at The Limes concert series.

ELEANOR VOAK is 11 years old and an Exuberant Trust grant award-winner. Eleanor has achieved Grade 8 bassoon and recorder, Grade 6 contrabassoon and is now studying for DipABRSM on bassoon and recorder. Eleanor has received many awards at a young age and has been an Oxford Music festival winner for 4 years running. She plays in the National Childrens´s Orchestra and the Youth Symphony Orchestra. In the second half of the concert, Eleanor will be joined by 14 year old Ewan Millar, who has already achieved DipABRSM on oboe. This will indeed be a rare, ‘double-reed’ recital at the Limes, by these two young but very talented musicians.
